Global Racing oil and factory sponsored GAS GAS riders Christopher Nambotin and Ludivine Puy beat the best international riders and teams at the 2009 International Six Days Enduro in Portugal this month. The GAS GAS/GRO team riders, world number 2 Nambotin and world number 1 female rider Ludivine Puy were the eventual champions at the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) held this year in Portugal. It was a great honor for the team to win such an event which is herald as one of the most important Enduro tournaments worldwide.
The test took place in Figueira da Foz Portugal, from the 12th to the 17th of October which gathered the best riders and teams from all over the world. The tournament carries a great atmosphere which could be deemed the ‘Motorcycle Enduro Olympic Games’. The competition was held in the very characteristic hot weather in this part of Portugal which added to the test of machine and lubricants.
Team France proved to be the best of the international teams beating all challenges in both male and female categories. The two riders from the GAS GAS/GRO team played a very decisive role at the final victory. The male French team, with Nambotin at the helm of his GRO GAS GAS, rode to the highest place on the podium followed by the riders from Italy and Finland in second and third place, respectively. The female category was also won by the French team, headed by the GRO GAS GAS team rider Ludivine Puy. 2nd and 3rd positions were represented by Sweden and Australia.
With respect to the individual categories, GRO GAS GAS won first place with both of its male and female riders. GRO GAS GAS team rider Nambotin made history when he became the first GRO GAS GAS rider to win this competition. As far as the GRO GAS GAS female team rider Ludivine Puy is concerned, she defended her title as the best female rider in the world currently. The performance of these two riders realized the perfect finale for the Global Racing Oils GAS GAS riders in the six day team! |
