Nowlan and GRO in testing times |

Another round of the Australian MRRDA road racing series has been run in sunny Queensland. Brody Nowlan’s GRO sponsored Honda suffered the perils of crashed traffic and was taken out in the 1st heat. Brody was able to remount but finished out of the points in heat 1 due to damage incurred during the off. The 2nd and 3rd heats saw Brody suffering with injuries and a semi perfect bike but still placed himself in the top 3 which gave Brody a 5th place for the round. Broady and GRO now head to Phillip Island for the final round with a healthy 43pts lead in the championship standings. Brody has made the most of his opportunity during his 1st test on a GP 125. Brody’s test ride was on a 99 model 125 that was arranged by Chris Vermeulen’s father at the Warwick track day in Queensland. Brody was able to cut lap times within a second of the 125 record. There were a lot of very red faces behind the visors of pilots on new R1’s and CBR big bores, many with slicks and pipes when Brody set the 2nd fastest time at the track for the day. Lucky for them they weren’t there for the next day when they set the 125 up for Brody’s weight and he went a full second faster.
Word has it that someone from higher places has got wind of the smoking Ozzi star and is looking at putting together a test in Europe. The interesting thing when talking to this young fellow is he actually knows what he is talking about. He can tell you about everything he is doing on and off the bike. I ask Brody and his dad regularly about the GRO oil and other GRO products they use to get genuine feed back. ‘The GRO products are really good; we have tried heaps of things over the years but GRO where defiantly happy with!' The Nowlan's also have the hotly contested Australian flat track titles coming up in Canberra during November so it will be a good test for the GRO Offroad? 1 full synthetic 2 stroke oil, which has excelled in all tests this season, must be why we have sold out 3 times in a row, plenty of stock available again though.
